Ikejime is a collection of poems written as a lexicon on everyday moments. Conversational and stripped down, Ikejime’s poems aim to open up the reader and shout within them asking for nothing but a slight echo in return. The poems live in the soil of the physical world and are an exercise in gardening for those little, commonplace nuggets of love and loss and growth that we seed all of our lives with.
