WTF (Writing Through Fascism) takes the reader on a journey through the mind of a queer, bipolar, Jewish male in the wake of the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election. Taking the form of thirty sonnets, Jacob R. Moses outlines his deepest desires and fears from the beginning of November to the aftermath of Trump’s re-election. This collection is a cry for understanding amid a period of mass-marginalization. Subjects addressed in WTF center around the various dimensions of loneliness people feel due to bigotry and discrimination. In the aftermath of the election, in a world that directly and indirectly rewarded prejudice, the poet questions his place in society.
